Frost Overdose

Uploaded by: YouKnowWho

Lebanon, WI (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Just for kicks, since I'm pretty much tired of shooting the frost on my windows, I give you this out-of-focus frost capture. We have had dangerous rural road conditions, cloudless and frigid days or otherwise gray days and I haven't found a desire to be out in it. This is the first winter I can recall having this feeling.

I love this, Eileen! It reminds me of a beautiful
window covering a patient, talented friend made
out of capiz shells. This is how it looked when
the sun shone through that window. Beautiful!
Hers looked lovely in the window frame...yours
looks lovely ion the Blue frame! Congratulations!

This is so deserving of an AC for beauty and creativity, both! Good for you!! And you're wise to be cautious on the roads. The only thing worse than bad roads is sliding off them.

Thanks for the suggestions!
I don't have an all-wheel-drive car, though, so it doesn't really matter what I'm wearing if I can't maneuver my car on these rural roads out here.
I do appreciate your comment, though!
I'm thinking I should just take all my pix out-of-focus...haha!

I like your photo. Personally I have gotten out more this year than ever. Might I suggest a nice set of heavy weather coveralls? I have found that being dressed right makes a huge difference.

What an awesome bokeh photograph! To overcome boredom, have you tried indoor photography such as chiaroscuro with limited light & bokeh with candles or holiday lights or candle-lit portrait shots? Manipulate your settings for more interesting photos and overcome boredom. There is a digital photography school online that sends out free weekly "assignments" to stretch and improve your camera skills.
