Danville, VA (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Not sure if you can see the deer tracks in the snow - but remember how I have said the deer cross the street and then boogity boogy right on up the hill. If you look closely you can see all the tracks as they ran up beside my house since the snow stopped. We ended up with a nice little snow and lots of COLD temps but pretty sunny skies.

I was empty handed this afternoon - no camera - had taken trash out and turned to come back in and there was a whole yard full of deer right ready to run across the street. I just froze and counted them as they came across. I counted 12 between worrying if the car coming down the street would see them or if it would hit one - was amazing Wish I had a photo to share but only a mental memory! Just as always, cross the street, and boogity boogie up my hill and out of sight! And no snow so not even any tracks to show for it....well probably lots of hoof markings in grass.

I do see them! They look just like the deer tracks on my lawn! Glad that you got a little snow. Now and then one wants to see the beauty it can impart!
