Caption: Not certaint the eggs look pale blue or perhaps pale green, quite tiny in a small cup type nest of grass. We did not look at them long. It was just discovered in daughter's door decoration.

Watch for the eggs to hatch and the parents to bring food to the nestlings. That's your best time to get a good look at them.

there was this nature lady that would know.
I have not seen the bird but it seems everytime
the door opens it flies away.

Not bluebirds; they are cavity nesters and their eggs are plain blue. A number of sparrows build nests and lay eggs that match the picture above. Without seeing the parent birds it would be difficult to say, but my guess is some kind of sparrow.
