I have an opposite opinion of the Trolls you unfortunately encountered. I love your editing, great job! The theme, composition, quality and lighting are great, and this celebrates the beautiful Supermoon. This is defiantly portfolio material, and would make great wall art. So far the Approvers, along with 113 people with a 9.8 rating and 40 favorites agree. Just remember those of us that like your image. Keep up the good work, and thanks for uploading:)

Lovely constructed work of the imagination, had it been an etching or embroidered onto fabric there is no excuse for unkind words. Missed it until now but glad all is now once more at peace over the other side of the pond.

Glad I read comments before commenting. This makes a very impressive shot, even though it is "modified." What fun we can have with our photos on the computer. Sorry that you got unkind comments. We can learn a lot from others on here. That's what it's all about-learning and growing in photography. 10 for your creativity.

Just relax Susan - you are not the first person to make a misteak on this site - nor will you be the last. Most people enjoyed the photo and no matter what they say or you do, the photo is not going to self destruct. Looking forward to another 300 from you.

Someone finally took the time to tell me how to modify my image. I had been using 'classic' and that was my issue. I checked the 'manipulated images' box and explained the situation.

Now I am getting hate mail. I would like to rectify this. I did not see the 'manipulated image' box when I uploaded this photo. I have tried to modify it but when I click on 'modify photo' I get this: "Photo uploads can no longer be conducted on classic. Instead, use www.wunderground.com"
I did not upload this imagine falsely to receive an AC. They can have their AC back. I thought it was a fun image and I did take both the photo of the moon and the photo of the church. Just not at the same time. Please, if someone could tell me how to modify this (without being rude and calling me names) I would appreciate it. If I could delete this I would. Is that possible?

an excellent composite!

The moon and the building were two separate shots taken at two separate focal lengths and two separate exposures- and then combined.

still makes for an interesting image!

Microshinik, I agree with you, the first thought I had when I saw this image/s was it's two shots merged. The moon is huge and the building is about normal size with the camera seemingly close to the building this just wouldn't happen. The end result is very nice, but you should let people know how you did it.

Suitable for Halloween. I would never have guessed "church" if you hadn't said so. I was thinking, "Gosh, the Addams Family has spiffed up the place."
