Caption: It was supposed to snow down to sea level last night, but it never got cold enough. I had to go to 3000 feet on Bald Hills to find much of the stuff.

Kalvin, the NWS forecast suggested lows down in the high 20s -- it just never got that cold in the end. Maybe next time!

Oops... Dunno how the location came out as "Ca,Ca." This is the Bald Hills section of Redwood National Park, about 15 miles up the hill from Highway 101.

About Tsurai

Tsurai

I'm fortunate enough to live 'way up on the northwestern coast of northern California, an area sometimes referred to as The Humboldt Nation, or the land behind the redwood curtain. Work takes me on the road six months a year, but the rest of the time is mine to surf, kayak, fish, watch birds, and of course take photographs of this remarkable region.
