Recent and prolonged heavy rains has the Kaministiquia River running very high and sending large volumes of water tumbling over Kakabeka Falls. Thunderstorms are forecast for tonight and tomorrow so water levels will continue to increase.

When I saw the thumbnail I thought it looked like Kakabeka so was not surprised to see I was right. I thought you had had a lot of rain lately and we have had some too also a lot colder in May than in April. Keep sending Bev. Arlene

About ThunderBev
ThunderBev I have lived in Northwestern Ontario all my life, and think I am very lucky! In addition to fresh air and changing seasons, there is the opportunity to attempt to catch the beautiful scenery on camera. I say 'attempt', because a picture is not worth a thousand words... the reality can take your breath away. I have always been a shutterbug, however owning a digital camera and discovering Wunderground has motivated me even more. Create your own visitor map!
