Mt. Evans, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: My brother and I went up to Mt. Evans the other day, and the whole trip up I was hoping to see some Mountain Goats. Nothing on the way up or at the summit. Then, on the way down there was a whole herd of them! As I was getting out and setting up, the goats decided to make it a little more difficult to take pictures of them, and went around eating with their heads to the ground.

Strange... summer is almost over and they're still shedding their winter coats? I notice they were doing that when I saw them on Glacier National Park in mid June.

Great pictures
I climbed Mount Spaulding (next to Mt Evans) on Sunday the 15th. On the way down as the clouds lifted I found myself in a herd of about 20 mt goats, maybe the same ones.
