I believe this phenomenon is called the "New Moon in the Arms of the Old". Where you can see the dark part of the moon it is lite by the Earth.

About SKERT

SKERT

I am an obsessed photographer and take my Cannon 6D,7D, Rebel and Power shot with me wherever I go. It is this site that has influenced me to get out with a camera and share my weather around the world. My Wunderground friends have taught me so much about photography and encouraged me to find that artist within.
