We use to have coyotes around but as the housing area expanded out this way they have moved on. Now we just have hawks but the quail run to the lilac bush at the top left to hide.

Great that you have the ground feeding Quail.
Here @ 46391 the coyotes got our quail and pheasnts. Coyotes feed on the ground too.
Thanks to the department of (un)natural resources. They brought me them coyotes, that were never here before.
