Lava Lichen 2

Forest City, NC (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Coming home from Gold Beach I stopped along the shore of Lake Albert in Eastern Oregon. I picked up some rounded Lava with Lichen on them. This piece is about 3 inches long by 2 inches wide. I had set it on the mantel and decided I would take out in the sun. Now it is a little piece of Oregon in North Carolina.

About Railheel

Railheel

My name is Gary and I'm a retired railroader. I have always enjoyed photography and now that I have the time I take lots of photos. My late wife of 40 years and I traveled from our home in Western North Carolina to her home in Ridgecrest Calif. one or more times a year. Our love is going to National Parks as we traveled this great land of ours. We have been blessed by seeing over 30 Parks showing Gods Wonders. WeatherUnderground allows me to visit across this country and around the world from my recliner.
