There's a lot of beauty and strangeness around Burns-Hines-Steens Mountain, but this shot takes the cake for beautiful, strangeness. Well done!

I rode down that highway last year Gary...I tend to choose the lonely back roads. Love this series, every image is exceptional.

This low cloud is amazing the way it hovers just above the lake and is edged by blue sky , that allows the sun to light up the bare mountainside beautifully !
Superb capture, Gary !

About Railheel

Railheel

My name is Gary and I'm a retired railroader. I have always enjoyed photography and now that I have the time I take lots of photos. My late wife of 40 years and I traveled from our home in Western North Carolina to her home in Ridgecrest Calif. one or more times a year. Our love is going to National Parks as we traveled this great land of ours. We have been blessed by seeing over 30 Parks showing Gods Wonders. WeatherUnderground allows me to visit across this country and around the world from my recliner.
