So Little Snow

Uploaded by: PugetSoundPost

Sunday January 26, 2014

WA

Caption: This was taken just over the crest of the Cascade Mountains on the east side of Snoqualmie Pass. Not much snow for so late in January. They are skiing at the summit but this area should be a lot deeper in snow than this. It was cold however, about 25 degrees, so a quiet winter afternoon in the mountain woods.

It appears the entire western USA is in drought conditions. I hope this is not going to be a global warming pattern. You folks & the creatures need water.

About PugetSoundPost

PugetSoundPost

My husband and I, along with our four kids in college and beyond live in western Washington, but we like to venture further afield when time permits. We have enjoyed photography wherever we have gone and hope to add a little new perspective to any who may stop by to enjoy a bit of our journeys. We appreciate your interest and comments! Weather is also a passion of mine, so please drop by my blog for my musings about our weather here in the Puget Sound region!
