Worthington, IN (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Really wasn't all that bad tho, just enough rain to get me a bit wet as I ran the 3/4 miles back to the house (well, I ran part of it, anyway - need to get in better shape, lol!) My thoughts and prayers go out to those in Mayflower, AR and all the other areas that suffered damage and loss today

It was scary for me, living in the Stuttgart, Ar area. We were in the watch all night. couldnt sleep, prayed all night for everyone to be safe and for the atmosphere to relax. Comming from Hawaii where there were no tornados everytime a thunderstorm took place, this is quite a different aspect. There was some strong lightning though. My daddy worked for the Hawaiian Electric Co. and we were so worried when he got called out during storms. I was so glad when the storms finally passed but then I hope others prayed too. Thats a big tornado in this picture. Mean looking. All nice photos. Take care all.

Wow! Beautiful perspective and tremendous storm image. Love the clarity on the silos and power lines. Glad you stayed safe! 3/4 of a mile is a good distance running or walking! :) 10!

Congrats on an excellent AC, Tammy!

I love the eerie color in this and the way it kinda glows and creates an aura around the electric poles. Very nice!

Thanks, everyone! Funny thing was, it actually didn't storm at all...... I was expecting to get pounded, but all it did was rain a bit - until I got back to the house, that is, then it quit, lol! Definitely counting our blessings after seeing the footage coming in from other places hit last night. So sad!

I was running from that bad boy! Dang! That is
SO scary looking! Like you, my thoughts and prayers
go out to all the folks affected by the horrib;e
storms, especially in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Congratulations on your Blue! You earned this one!

About PlanetPest

PlanetPest

Hello everyone!I have loved taking pictures since I was a child, borrowing my Dad's Kodak 110...In February 2008, my big brother Dan bought me my first digital camera. Oh, what fun, to take all those pictures and not have to pay for film!My favorite subject is nature, and all that pertains to it. God has blessed me with the opportunity to see many beautiful things - from my backyard in the Midwest, to the places that I have been priviledged to visit.I'm still very much an amateur (did I even spell that right?) I guess, that gets a lucky shot once in awhile. Thanks to you all for sharing the wonderful things that you see and experience!
