Thank you, lindalaughs, much appreciated! Budsgirl, this is an 'artistic' rendering of the other photo in this series - 'twisted' if you will - in which one bends the original photo thru a series of steps in Photoshop, sometimes creating almost 'other-worldly' images. The spidery branches around the edge are the branches from the tree, when the picture was 'twisted' the branches wrapped around the edges, forming a bit of a border... hope that explains it? :) Thanks for commenting!

I can see clouds and sun dogs, but what about the spidery white & purple branches on the edges?

This an excellent distortion and for some reason made me think of Alice in Wonderland. Brilliant Artistry!

About PlanetPest

PlanetPest

Hello everyone!I have loved taking pictures since I was a child, borrowing my Dad's Kodak 110...In February 2008, my big brother Dan bought me my first digital camera. Oh, what fun, to take all those pictures and not have to pay for film!My favorite subject is nature, and all that pertains to it. God has blessed me with the opportunity to see many beautiful things - from my backyard in the Midwest, to the places that I have been priviledged to visit.I'm still very much an amateur (did I even spell that right?) I guess, that gets a lucky shot once in awhile. Thanks to you all for sharing the wonderful things that you see and experience!
