Well???? For a change,,we DO have more than usual,,the flyway is right over us this year, looks like,,it's been a couple years it seems, maybe more!! what a thrill it was today,,the whole area was LOADED!! Apparently so was some idiot morons, out there shooting at geese in a public park with lots of people around!!! Can't wait to hear the extended version,if that's possible..! Wish we'd been there and caught them on camera!

They flew in all afternoon, filling the pond. Then there was some nearby shooting, and in a very short time the pond was empty and a steady stream of geese was flying north. Not sure if any will return.

About Nikongranny

Old, retired with lots of time on my hands and a Nikon. Lucky for me, there is a park just north of town that provides me with migrating birds and sunsets. Since joining this site, I have a new appreciation for this scenic world we live in. I especially love the comments from so many great people on here.
