I haven't seen wild swans but I do see whooping cranes. The cranes are difficult to photograph because they are hard to approach closely and there is so much contrast between their bright white bodies and the drab marsh. 10 from SE Texas.

About Nikongranny

Nikongranny

Old, retired with lots of time on my hands and a Nikon. Lucky for me, there is a park just north of town that provides me with migrating birds and sunsets. Since joining this site, I have a new appreciation for this scenic world we live in. I especially love the comments from so many great people on here.
