Great capture on your Nikon there Maxine! A definite "10" for this shot--love the colors, lighting and reflections...plus, a good story "behind the photo" about those pesky loose dogs!

Kinda like the weather and season. Our colors change and we go into the winter black and white. Looks like we are halfway between, was wishing for the monochrome total effect, poised action preempts all my whimses. Beautiful composition

Thanks, Friends! Wish I could catch these two and give them a "good home" through the winter. They were left behind last spring when the migration came through along with about 9 others. These 2 are the only ones surviving the harsh summer. Only lately are people turning dogs loose. The leash law was followed after a few complaints earlier.

About Nikongranny

Nikongranny

Old, retired with lots of time on my hands and a Nikon. Lucky for me, there is a park just north of town that provides me with migrating birds and sunsets. Since joining this site, I have a new appreciation for this scenic world we live in. I especially love the comments from so many great people on here.
