Hi, as of February, 2012 I'm 14 years old and have been taking pictures for a long time, but only really got interested in photography in about April of 2011. I used a Sony DSC-HX5 point-and-shoot for about 7 months, but now I use a Canon Rebel T2i DSLR and what an improvement, especially in low light high ISO performance! I'm always open to suggestions, comments and questions, and I hope you enjoy my photos!

Caption: This is one image, not a composite. I used a small aperture (for the time of day) of F11 and an ISO of 400 to prevent the fireworks from being blown out, and then a long 30 second to get the color in the sky. Looking back on it, I think a doubled exposure time of 60 seconds, a halved ISO of 200 and the same f11 aperture would've been better as it would've kept the same sky brightness, but darkened the fireworks.
