I was at the U of O in the late 60s, and we had a rare snowfall of several feet in Eugene that closed down everything. The nearest snowplow was 100 miles away. The radio gave announcements of where roofs were in danger, and people with 4-wheel drives gathered people to help shovel the snow. It lasted only a couple of days though, and I do not remember in which the snow visited us.

Thank you fro sharing! While you are having snow records, in contrast folks in illinois are setting alltime early blooming and strech # of days of record June level heat in march It looks like May and not only the trees are green but the mowing season is already underway along with the humming ACs too.

Wow, and here in East TN we are breaking records for the warmest march, I lost track of how many days we have had temps in the 80's.

I heard about the snow storm in the grocery
store yesterday. Man said his son called to
tell him they had 6 inches of snow in the
heart of Eugene. Wow. That is unusual.

Thanks for sharing this unique event.
