I was in the eastern U.P. earlier in March and there was a ton of snow. Here the snowfall has been slightly above normal this winter (about 48" average is 43")..and there has been a blanket of snow on the ground much of the time, but the deepest depth has been about 7-8". So its been one of those winters where it looks like winter most of the time, the snow was frequent to keep it fresh, but never too deep to disrupt anything (but I like it deep). It is spring now though, so the snowcover days are gone til next winter.
