I'm not an expert on Robins nests. You might be able to get more information from the Audubon Guide to North American Birds http://birds.audubon.org/birdid

This is a good capture of the robin's nest. I have an interesting pix in my gallery that appears to be a robin's nest that is made mostly of mud. This nest appears to have somewhat different construction.

Hi ELM, did you see the photo of the nest before the eggs hatched. That one gives a pretty good look at the interior of the nest as well.

I always like to see what they use in their nests and looks like she has a mop string in hers...I've seen them place snake skins in their nest around my woodsy place.
