Thanks for the comment BahaHuican .... I usually have my mate with me .. But he also does not like babysitting my camera as we like to swim together.
Yes ! Try manipulating the cell camera to the setting , lighting that you want to achieve.. It's super simple !!!!

This is a good bit of advice. I usually lug my camera around with me, but then I have my own trans and a secure place to keep my things most days at work. If I was a person who had to move around all day every day, I'd be hard pressed to do it, though; the gear weighs a TON....

I'll try that out with my phone this week. Every now and then I go out without the Canon, but I always have at least one phone on me... lol...

The secret to decent cell phone captures ... Have a decent phone camera.. And then tap the area you want to be in focus .. Before you take the shot... The lighting will be automatically readjusted based on your focus .. As you tap an area in the frame ... Sometimes I don't like what the camera wants to do.. So I readjust the focal point to capture the lighting I want to be presented .
Just kind of a play around with different lighting and focus till you achieve what you want ....

Ha ha BahaHurican !!!! Yes I guess what they always say... It's not the equipment that makes you ... It's your eye!!!! I wish so much I could take my camera out with me at all times... But with one car, and two of us working .. I don't get to take photo intended excursions., very often... When we do go out on a day off... I don't want to " babysit" my camera equipment ... We do have a problem with theft here on this beautiful island sad to say..
So... I enjoy, jeep it simple and share the beauty whenever I can ;)
Thank you for your kind words ;)

Serious ???? It went blue ??? Yeah ! It's one of my favorite views...

We were at a restaurant/bar just above these cliffs. Watching for whales... We saw some fish boils and some dolphins, but no whales;( ...
I predicted the sunset would be a non event.. And then !!! I could see the glow forming... So I ran down the steps from the cliff and had only my cell phone with me to witness this amazing sunset.... I was all alone basking in its glory! This island is full of magical gifts !!! So happy I moved here... Feeling like the home I always searched for..
Thank you approves for recognizing the beauty !!!!
