Caption: This Strawberry Farm is in Ventura, but the smoke from the nearby Springs Fire, cast a glow. I love the California Poppies at the end of the rows of delicious red and plump strawberries . temps were in the 90's with strong dry winds .

Thanks for the comments... I just noticed these comments... This farm does not have the ' pick your own fruit' ... And yes , California strawberries are sold and shipped to much of the country ... Wish they would grow utilizing more sustainable practices though...

my mouth water! The poppies add a nice contrast.
