This is not my highest rated saguaro image but I truly like it. And glad you do also. And, once again, you very kind comments are greatly appreciated.

I have put together slide presentations (with music0 of the Grand Canyon and other on AZ Flowers - on You Tube. Maybe I should do one for saguaros

It is probably evident that I love taking pictures of them.

Thank you again.

Lauren

Beautiful shot with the early wisps of haze/fog on the Santa Ritas & along the valley. You have a particular talent for great Sagauro shots! Congrats on the recognition--well deserved.

About Lauren517

Lauren517

I took early retirement (age 55) from a corporate sales / marketing career in 1995. My wife (now 51 years of marital bliss!), Barbara, and I then built our dream home in Estes Park, CO only to realize we could not live at 8,000' as a base elevation (though we hiked regularly at 10-12,000' and up to 14,000'). So in the spring of 2003 we sold it and built a home at Quail Creek at 3000' in Sahuarita, AZ - just south of Tucson; near the Santa Rita Mountains. Due to a hiking fall in 2008, and subsequent re-constructive shoulder surgery, the "no more golf" mandate brought me back to my photography. God works in mysterious ways!I use PhotoShop minimally; enhance but not create as I say. Want people to see what I saw as I pretty much saw it. I have been blessed to have been asked to do one person gallery exhibits and am frequently published in magazines and newspapers.Although I sell my images, the real reward is the joy I am told I bring to others with my efforts. My motto is, "Shoot The Shot The Others Did Not!"
