Omaha, NE (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: What a fantastic sunset! There had been NO clouds all day then just a few wispy ones right at sunset then it started clouding up on the horizon and I thought, “nope not today”. Then in the last 5 minutes the sun was able to break through from underneath and light up the sky. Very cool. I am so honored to witness such beauty.

Wow! What a flood of comments. I woke up this morning and saw that all six images I uploaded last night had been commented on. I am honored once again. I have never had so many comments on so many images. I am really enjoying reading them. And hope that my future pictures will show what I have learned from the comments. I had a lot of fun exploring several techniques last evening. I am also having fun with the new lens, Olympus 75-300 which is an effective 150-600 mm, quite a bit longer than what I am used to. It is encouraging me to see thing differently.

Thanks a again for all the comments.

About LarryD

LarryD

I really enjoy this site. The wonderful photos I see here never cease to amaze, and inspire me. I look forward to reading the comments on my photos. I am inordinately pleased when I am awarded an Approvers Choice. I use Nikon equipment and am especially fond of macro photography. I continue to be astounded by the beauty in the miniature world visible though my lens. Additionally, I rarely have to venture very far to find interesting subjects. The Henry Doorly zoo is my favorite location. If you get to Omaha Nebraska. I highly recommend you spend some time at the zoo with your camera. Larry
