There was very little ice on the river tonight. What was there was very thin. No clouds but still a super nice evening outdoors.

Beautiful light on those ice remnants - and that now famous stump! Isn't it amazing how different each day is?

I just uploaded two more. I think that the second one is the best. And I had to drag part of that old stump out of the river! I think next time I am going to bring it home in my pickup!

I didn't see any clouds until just as I was leaving. I found myself wondering what it looked like in Firth?

About LarryD
LarryD I really enjoy this site. The wonderful photos I see here never cease to amaze, and inspire me. I look forward to reading the comments on my photos. I am inordinately pleased when I am awarded an Approvers Choice. I use Nikon equipment and am especially fond of macro photography. I continue to be astounded by the beauty in the miniature world visible though my lens. Additionally, I rarely have to venture very far to find interesting subjects. The Henry Doorly zoo is my favorite location. If you get to Omaha Nebraska. I highly recommend you spend some time at the zoo with your camera. Larry
