I went out to shoot the sunrise and got a full (almost) moonset in the bargan. This is the first time the lake has been frozen deep enough to get out onto. I was shooting toward the bank from out on the lake. It sure was making a lot of loud banging and popping!

I really enjoy this site. The wonderful photos I see here never cease to amaze, and inspire me. I look forward to reading the comments on my photos. I am inordinately pleased when I am awarded an Approvers Choice. I use Nikon equipment and am especially fond of macro photography. I continue to be astounded by the beauty in the miniature world visible though my lens. Additionally, I rarely have to venture very far to find interesting subjects.The Henry Doorly zoo is my favorite location. If you get to Omaha Nebraska.
