Congratulations - Great AC.

During the Great Reno Balloon Race - the Eagle is the first balloon to launch in the morning as the Star Spangled Banner is sang. It carries a big US Flag. Awesome Sight.

Thank you all. It was good family fun. There were kids running around everywhere. The weather was perfect for flying the balloons. Not nearly as hot as it has been. They are having two more evening Nite-Glow events this week so you can still catch them if you are in the area. This shot was easier than I thought it would be. I didn't even need the tripod I brought.

I am inordinately pleased when I am awarded an Approvers Choice. I use Nikon equipment and am especially fond of macro photography. I continue to be astounded by the beauty in the miniature world visible though my lens. Additionally, I rarely have to venture very far to find interesting subjects.The Henry Doorly zoo is my favorite location. If you get to Omaha Nebraska. I highly recommend you spend some time at the zoo with your camera. Larry
