Kennebunk Beach, ME (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Lots of action at the waterfront this morning. It was snowing at a good clip, the waves sure surging for a flood tide, and the 40F waters were steaming into the 0F air, while the seagulls were soaring above for the sheer joy of it all.

You are a crazy woman, Wilma! Get in where it is warm (although, one crazy woman to another, I "get" why you're out there...). Super capture!

I have never seen anything like this in my life!
The ocean warmer than the air above it? Steam? Gulls? My jaw dropped as I read your description!
Great shot!!

Thanks for looking, and for leaving comments, Eileen and Dorothy. Yes, it was exhilarating! The fire chief was right behind me, getting ready to close the road just beyond this point. The ocean surge throws the beach rocks up over the seawall and onto the road around the next bend.
