Kennebunk Beach, ME (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: ...when planning a lobsterbake on the beach. It sure looked good when we got to the beach, and we able to set up at the perfect spot on the point between the sand beach to the east, and the rock beach to the west.

We had a fabulous event, CynthiaSue. Thanks for asking. There is nothing quite like gathering, cooking, and enjoying local foods with friends. Everyone should have these experiences, whether at a salmon roast, a clambake, lobster bake, pig roast.......whatever! Just do it!

Thanks for the notice, and kind words, Eileen. I did want to show how steep an incline there was here at the edge of the beach. This spot was an apple orchard in the 18th century, long since eroded by hurricanes and nor'easters. When we have the minus tides, you can see remnants of the tree stumps in the exposed reaches that are more sandy.

Looks like the perfect spot...love that you included a bit of water in the foreground, too!
A beauty!
