Caption: The Metis of Maine hosted an intertribal powwow this weekend, and many tribes from various parts of North America were represented. Folks from the Abenaki, MicMac, Passamaquoddy, Maliseet, and Penobscot of Maine were all present, as well as Wampanoag, Mohawk, Ojibway, Lakota, Cherokee, Navajo and Sioux peoples.
