Kennebunk Beach, ME (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: It's been raining since forever here on the coast, and the low set up off the coast to bring us a nor'easter. It was a marvelous treat to have the clouds break at noontime, right at the time of high tide. You can see the wave action along the seawall, the seaweed that has been thrown up onto the sidewalk, but the town took its plow out this morning to move the rocks off the roadway, once again.

So nice to hear from each of you, Trudy, Ingrid, Wanda, Liz, Dianne and Peg. This is a perfect beach to stroll at high tide - and at high tide, you HAVE to resort to the sidewalk as the sea is continuing its creep inland. The rocky area on the left was once an apple pasture at the turn of the 20th century. Now, of course, it is all washed away, and only a small spit of land is left of what once was Narragansett Point.

Nice shot, Wilma. We had a couple `breaks` like this one. Clouds came right back in. Last time we had full sun was the 22nd I believe...

Thanks for the looksee and comments, Eileen and Arlene. The weather can be problematic, can't it? Here in the northeast, it's mostly nuisance stuff - I really feel for those who rely on it to make their living, or who live in danger zones for damaging weather conditions.

We are getting daily rain also and it is forecast for most of the week, farmers can't get into the fields and the season is already late due to the late "spring".
