East Waterboro, ME (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Whole families come out to Little Ossippee Pond to enjoy winter on the ice. Some fish for smelts, others go further out in hopes of catching landlocked salmon, and of course, the kids skate, play hockey, and sled down the snow covered banks onto the frozen lake.

Delana, ice fishing is a tad different than angling in the warm waters of the South - but yes, it can be a lot of fun! Whole villages of these ice shacks populate the lakes here in the North. Thanks for taking the time to look and comment!
