Eurasian Jays bury (and hide almost everywhere) a lot of acorns and they often forget where they hid them, thanks to that I have a lot of oak saplings on my backyard every spring.
Oh, last year a Jay hid an acorn in my sock hanging on a dryer :)

And I just read this:
acorns (oak seeds, which it buries for use during winter)......guess I thought only squirrels hid nuts!
