As all the post have stated, this is truly a beautiful picture but for me it has a strong, metaphorical, emotional connection as well. My husband, Hal, died last year and I miss him more that words can describe. It was a long road to that death and hope has been elusive for me but this picture was hopeful. I can see Hal's ride, alone, through the rain in an effort to reach a beautiful and promising destination. That provides me with the hope that perhaps there IS a better place for Hal. Maybe he is now a part of that beautiful rainbow. Pictures ARE stronger than words.

Way to go Dr. Jeff! What an excellent shot with a rainbow, God's promise, and a wonderful composition with the windsurfer. Very nice work!
