Descend Into Twilight

Uploaded by: Hurricane765

Brentwood, NY (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Since the sunset's peak color happened to occur before the sun actually set and just as I arrived at a proper shooting location, I decided to take pictures until the sky grew into a dark electric blue as the last light of the day was extingushed. All and all, 28 images about 2 minutes apart. A much more colorful sunset was waiting in the wings tomorrow =)

I love how the little cloud above and to the right of the chimney looks like a star - then like a star with a shadow of a star to the right of it. Lovely!

I love this all so. In answer to your question I saw this in the sidebar when I was checking my local weather. I always thought that Wunderground only put the current photos over there.

How are people still finding and rating this particular GIF? I am not complaining or anything, just really curious that this one out of all of my GIFs keeps getting stumbled upon.

I am currently the only one who makes and submits GIFs but there used to be a few other people who have either left the site or have become inactive

I think you are the only person who makes the animated ones. First time seeing any on here! And they are all great. :)

This one is outstanding Dan! What an eye-catcher! I love how when the sky darkens, all the lights grow brighter. Really great work. Celebrate life, Debra

About Hurricane765

Hurricane765

UPDATED 7/5/13: Hello fellow photography lovers from all four corners of the globe! I am a 23 year old weather and nature photographer and just recently graduated from The State University at Oneonta with a Bachelors Degree in Meteorology. I have now been shooting for five straight years and have made outstanding progress in my art through various techniques, strategies, perspectives, and learning about photography as a whole. I was a photographer for the college at Oneonta in my last semester as a way of attracting prospective students but that ended upon my graduation. Also, I am planning my third local exhibition This sums me up in a nutshell so please, if you have of ~30 of my photos (though still no buyers haha). This is just a brief summary so please, if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or anything else, feel free to message me and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Until then, keep shooting & Keep An Eye to the Sky Enjoy my photos? I have created a Facebook Page specifically for my photography called "Keep An Eye to the Sky". All of my pictures will be there, minus the GIFs unfortunately. Please feel free to become a fan and browse through my many photos from sunsets to birds to even lightning.
