Awwh!!! I can feel the coolness of the air in my lungs and smell the new green of the fields.  I've only seen southern Europe and have always longed to see the mountains of the north where my DNA is traced to the Sami.

For some strange reason, most grass is always green. The snow had melted from this field only a couple of days before.

Ahhhhh! Yes, how satisfying to be able to feed that dream. I have only been to Switzerland and Lichenstein once, and yet.....there is still a draw for me to return! How beautiful!

About Hotzenwaelder

Hotzenwaelder

Although born, reared, and educated in the United States, I have been living in Europe for well over half of my life – primarily in Germany, and the pictures I submit are for the most part from the southern slopes of the Black Forest in the Rhine Valley between Germany and Switzerland. I have learned a great deal about photography from all the excellent posters on this site, and I am very thankful to everyone from all over the world for the help.
