Kalamata,

Caption: It is some time since I last uploaded a picture from Greece and I have recently started to get enquiries about my funeral, and whether they missed it! However, despite the evidence I am still occasionally upright enough to take a picture even if I do leave it until the sun has virtually disappeared and it is time for that glass of Raki. You need it after going down to the beach in January, even in Greece.

Have only just begun to enjoy your contributions(philosophic thoughts and eye widening photos). The beautiful sky is now my desktop.

About Granddad

Granddad

We are English, (except our dogs, who are definitely very Greek, having been abandoned strays who took us in out of the kindness of their hearts). We retired to Greece in 2003 to escape the phoney political correctness endemic throughout the Anglo-Saxon world and to mix with some real people again. We live in the Exo-Mani in the extreme South of the Peloponnesus, where the sea and countryside are beautiful and the weather is also less political (i.e. they don't tax sunshine yet). The site provides an opportunity for us to bore the whole world with our snapshots and for which we are duly grateful.
