Very beautiful blue sky emphasizes low ambient temperatures! You have a lot of snow, Bill! In my town there is also a lot of snow. I miss you very much for the sun, which I have not seen a long time ago.
Beautiful shot!

We've been lucky with the snow this year Ingrid; last year was almost a snow drought (for Manitoba, that is, where there's usually a good snow pack)!

Thanks Wanda! It is nice to see the sun (no matter how cold it gets)! The first part of our winter was overcast most days.

We went to Walmart this afternoon and it IS COLD!! But nothing unusual for January tho. At least we have the blue sky this week so it won't be so dreary.

I enjoy your photos..!

Yes chipspins; it's what we expect here in January! And it IS nice to see the sun again! Did you think the first part of winter was more cloudy than usual?

And you are out, Bill?
How many layers of clothing do you need to protect you against this sort of wind chill?
But your snow has maintained its pristine quality, while ours has turned to slush due to the recent rains !

It takes a bad spell of weather to keep me in Heidrun! I would say that four layers (three light and a parka on top)would be right for this weather. If you overdress you sweat, and are at risk of chilling!
