They are found nesting all over around Winnipeg Gil, from sheltered areas to open parking lots beside factories. This one and its mate (I presume it is the same pair)have been nesting here for several years now.

You're right Heidrun: there is a hint of green! A strange thing I have noticed around my home: the trees look more like leafing, than the grass looks like springing-a reversal of the usual order!

I think that many of the geese have lost their GPS systems this year Duane: there are far fewer of them this spring than usual!

This Canada Goose knows it`s spring and has a nest, that needs to be guarded, since there are no leaves out ,yet to provide better protection !
Ahhh - I do detect a little spring green on the path . There IS hope, Bill !
