Depends on the time of evening: Jupiter would be in the northeast early; then make it's way across the sky to the west by late night/early morning!

Would Jupiter have shown in the eastern sky on Sunday (29th) evening..?

We were on a tour bus heading north for Wpg on Hwy 75 and saw the bright (what I thought was the space station)dot in the sky.
