Flooding in Central Texas

Uploaded by: GaryVA

Wednesday June 9, 2010

Round Rock, TX (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Nearly 3 1/2" of rain had fallen in Central Texas when this was taken. While not as dramatic as the flooding near San Antonio today, this is still significant. This is the low water crossing along CR-123 at Brushy Creek in far eastern Round Rock.

About GaryVA

GaryVA

My interest in weather really spun up during my career in wildland fire management in Southern California, as weather has a tremendous affect on wildfire starts and behavior. This is an, ahem, older photo of me in those days. I'm now living in central Texas, and weather is a very serious hobby of mine. My weather web site, providing current, historical, and forecast weather conditions for Central Texas is Round Rock Weather. var sc_project=2591691; var sc_invisible=0; var sc_partition=25; var sc_security="b5a0cb54";
