Distant Storms

Uploaded by: GaryVA

Tuesday June 8, 2010

Hutto, TX

Caption: Central Texas is under a Flash Flood Watch until late tonight. Storms are coming up from the SE bringing some badly needed rain. May is usually our wettest month, but received less than 1" of rain. We've already had 1.26" in June, with more (hopefully) to come.

About GaryVA

GaryVA

My interest in weather really spun up during my career in wildland fire management in Southern California, as weather has a tremendous affect on wildfire starts and behavior. This is an, ahem, older photo of me in those days. I'm now living in central Texas, and weather is a very serious hobby of mine. My weather web site, providing current, historical, and forecast weather conditions for Central Texas is Round Rock Weather. var sc_project=2591691; var sc_invisible=0; var sc_partition=25; var sc_security="b5a0cb54";
