Remember, retirees go to Arizona because of the mild climate.

We were much cooler here at 112. Ha!

Yeah, it's a dry heat. Kind of like a blast furnace, a hot blow dryer, sticking your head in the oven, etc.

Do outside stuff very early in the morning, wear a hat, drink a lot of water. Surprisingly we do quite well out here with that kind of heat.

I used to live in AZ for 17 years and worked in construction so outside. On job a daylight an off around 1pm so not bad, you learn in AZ as other places with hot temps: Do not stand in the sun and drink lots of water, an only a little beer, wine, etc. Humidity was 4% when temp was over 114 and high at night was 10% so is very dry. 110 feels like 102 and that is hot but not that bad.

WOW, that is hot - I had read about that last
night in the news - how hot it was supposed to
be for you today. Stay hydrated and try to
avoid being out in heat of the day! Thoughts!
Update: Congratulations on VIP shot!

Oh how funny Cowgazer...I laughed right out loud on your comment! I'm with you though, if I had to live in that heat....just shoot me.
Fonda, I hope you get some relief from the heat soon and you don't run out of numbers on your gauge. And I thought it was hot at my house at 105. Thanks for sharing.
