Saint Paul, MN (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: High water levels and the major storms we've had last week has brought on a huge pile of logs in the river. This is a major problem for those navigating the Mississippi River right now. Right now it's clogging up the bridge and blocking a lot of boats. Just in time for the 4th of July too.

The arguing could go on for sometime, couldn't people who sell logs fish them out the river?

Right now the big news is who will clean it up. Some of the logs are on private property (the yacht club) and some are on national property and state property. Because of this, they are trying to pass the buck and argue over who's responsibility it is and who should pay to get the job done. I really hope clean up happens soon for the boaters sake.

About Fieldofflowers

Fieldofflowers

Every day that I come here, I'm amazed by the awesome photos I see. I love to take photos of whatever catches my eye. Usually my photos have something to do with nature. Insects and flowers have always been a big interest. You can also find me on Flickr. Summer '09 goal: Aiming to take pictures daily, and upload some of my favorites. I hope people enjoy them as much as I do. Most of the time, the fun comes from taking the pictures, more than the actual results. Create your own visitor map! Counter started: 6-21-09
