Love how the tree seems connected to the cloudy sky. I kept studying the patterns and shadows because things seem to fit. Great capture. Congrats Julia on this AC.

This is truly a tree with a " personality" - and reaching its bent limbs with their mistletoe bundles into the unsettled sky is captured fantastically !
CONGRATULATIONS on your AC, Julia !!!

All the trees in this shot are fantastic, Julia, all of
their wonderful twisty, turny branches telling the stories
of their lives. Soon they will leaf out and their secrets
will be private again until Winter. Your 'lady dancer'
would certainly be a favorite of mine. This shot is
headed for my Favorites! Congratulations on your
Blue!

About Doesiedoats

Doesiedoats

I’m a native Oregonian, born in Tillamook and reared in the greater Portland area. After working in the Bay Area in the semi-conductor industry as a Human Resources Representative, my husband and I retired in 1999, returned to Southern Oregon and settled in the Williams area. Photography interests started early on with a Kodak Box camera and later a Kodak 616 given to me by my father, a semi-professional photographer. After many years of film cameras, the advent of digital photography has expanded my interest in the hobby. My camera is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100. The Pacifica Gardens property has become the preferred subject of my photography because of its natural beauty. I have captured all four seasons over the past twelve years. I’m pleased to be able to share some of those photos with my WU friends. Please visit my web site via the link below.************************************************
