Stunning clarity and color, Julia! Love the beautiful blue background enhancing the other colors.
Marvelous closeup!

Congratulations on a lovely AC!!

The blue in the background are pieces of sky through the trees.
There is a huge Fir tree right behind the Silk tree giving the shaded area of the photo.

Thank you very much LInda and MrWing13, for looking and writing!

Pretty! Somehow I missed these in bloom this year. Either the winter took the tree out or I missed it. Last year, I got a photo when it was in bloom. My tree is on the Riverwalk Trail. Great capture! Congratulations on a pretty AC!

This particular tree along our driveway is a late bloomer.
We don't see any leaves until at least mid-June, then flower blooms during the first weeks of July.
Them seem to last quite a while though and sure are pretty.

Thank you SLR, Dianne and Shirley.

It was the rising sun that did the most work.
I just had to find the right position to the the
leaves and flower. You wouldn't believe the
angle of the monopod to do this.

Thanks, Kat, for looking and leaving your nice note.

is the flower, and the lighting is just perfect! Congratulations

Thank you very much, Mary.

Our tree is very scant of flowers this year because of lack
of watering. The trees in town are absolutely gorgeous.
I may try to find some of the larger ones to photo and
share with WU later on.

I DO understand the "foo-foo" nickname...it's great!

Beautiful shot Julia! There used to be a mimosa tree outside of where I worked and we called it the "foo-foo" tree
because of the flowers! It didn't survive the New England winters, however, but you brought back memories! AC congrats!

Congratulations, another great photo. Your latest photos seem much sharper and the color is excellent. Did you get a new camera or are you using a different editor?

Mike

My favorite camera is the Panasonic FZ100. Still the same, just learning what's what
and how to make the most of the features on it. Also learning how to "shoot" some
of the subjects available and hoping to get a few new things to work on.

Thank you, Mike and Heidrun, for your nice notes.
