Quoting ColoradoKat:

Every once in a while, our sky will turn this color and it always makes
me happy. I get so excited, I make everyone around me look at it, too!
With that elegant row of trees and their reflections, you have made that
awesome aqua sky even more wonderful! Beautiful, beautiful shot, Julia!
Congratulations on your Blue (which actually looks aqua, too on the
thumbnails as I write this. :->

It is unusual to be able to catch this in the pond reflections.
If you look at the shots of the geese landing ("Splash Down" in particular) one may even see the
aqua color in the wake of the birds.

Thanks so much, Kat, for your note.

Love those mirror flat days. We don't get too many of those around here. I like the whole series Julia, but this one is my favorite.

Thanks, Betsy, I appreciate your nice note.

Right now, SW rural Oregon is only beautiful if one has irrigation.
The rest of us are dry and brown. No green now until late Fall.

On to my desktop!
And congrats on YOUR AC, Julia. It must be beautiful out there in southern OR, now. Getting rather humid here and will be that way mostly until the end of August. We have had more rain than usual.

About Doesiedoats

Doesiedoats

I’m a native Oregonian, born in Tillamook and reared in the greater Portland area. After working in the Bay Area in the semi-conductor industry as a Human Resources Representative, my husband and I retired in 1999, returned to Southern Oregon and settled in the Williams area. Photography interests started early on with a Kodak Box camera and later a Kodak 616 given to me by my father, a semi-professional photographer. After many years of film cameras, the advent of digital photography has expanded my interest in the hobby. My camera is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100. The Pacifica Gardens property has become the preferred subject of my photography because of its natural beauty. I have captured all four seasons over the past twelve years. I’m pleased to be able to share some of those photos with my WU friends. Please visit my web site via the link below.************************************************
