What a fantastic image of a new Month and a new Dawn, hope heaven is like this, but then I could be shovelin' coal for eternity.

Sometimes we win and sometimes (well, most of the time)
we don't. I frequently shoot ALMOST into the sun to
avoid the lens flare, but this time it isn't too
much of a bother...or at least so I think.

Thanks so much for your messages Doug and Joan.

Gorgeous scene, great composition and framing, and perfect lighting. I love the mist/fog and agree with Doug about the great job done of taking a shot directly into the sun!

Congrats on the AC!

What a gorgeous sunrise over the mountains. It's difficult to capture an image directly into the sun. Congrats on the AC!

About Doesiedoats

Doesiedoats

I’m a native Oregonian, born in Tillamook and reared in the greater Portland area. After working in the Bay Area in the semi-conductor industry as a Human Resources Representative, my husband and I retired in 1999, returned to Southern Oregon and settled in the Williams area. Photography interests started early on with a Kodak Box camera and later a Kodak 616 given to me by my father, a semi-professional photographer. After many years of film cameras, the advent of digital photography has expanded my interest in the hobby. My two favorite cameras are the Nikon Coolpix P500 and the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100. The Pacifica Gardens property has become the preferred subject of my photography because of its natural beauty. I have captured all four seasons over the past twelve years. I’m pleased to be able to share some of those photos with my WU friends. Please visit my web site via the link below.************************************************
