Williams, OR (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: One should always be careful what they ask/hope for. Ok, enough already with the fog and freezing temps. Well, I may change my mind next week as we are forecast for chances of rain all week long. Never satisfied ...

Do you ever do such a thing as take a bad photo? I don't think you would know how to do that. I guess one of the reasons I find your pics so meaningful is because I grew up on a farm in the Willamette Valley near Eugene and seeing ones like this one make me feel like I am "home again". We got lots of fog there. I will be watching for many more.

Thanks, Eileen.

Yes, I suppose it is, but it sure does
hinder the photo expeditions each morning.
Oh, listen to me .... next week rain ...
I'll probably complain about that too!

You know, Julia, I love whatever shots you get in whatever weather - they're all gorgeous! You have a great eye for composition in that lovely landscape of yours. Love your new bio pic, too!

I’m a native Oregonian, born in Tillamookand reared in the greater Portland area. After working in the Bay Area in thesemi-conductor industry as a Human ResourcesRepresentative, my husband and I retired in 1999, returned to Southern Oregon and settledin the Williams area.Photography interests started early on with aKodak Box camera and later a Kodak 616 givento me by my father, a semi-professional photo-grapher. After many years of film cameras, theadvent of digital photography has expanded myinterest in the hobby. My two favorite camerasare the Nikon Coolpix P500 and the PanasonicLumix DMC-FZ100.The Pacifica Gardens property has become thepreferred subject of my photography becauseof its natural beauty. I have captured allfour seasons over the past twelve years. I’mpleased to be able to share some of thosephotos with my WU friends.************************************************
